Sadly sonny passed away on Jan. 25, 2004
I first saw Sonny at the Chevron NightClub in 1984 as a skinny body builder posing on stage and vowing to be the next best thing to come out of Australia.

Over the years to follow, I saw his rise to body building stardom. I give Sonny a special mention on this site for strength athletes because he trained heavy and hard year in, year out and all ways showed respect to other athletes.
