Dean Lukin was the first Australian Super Heavy Weightlifter to win a Gold Medal at the 1984 Olympics; in fact he was the first ever in the history of the sport to do so.

A great character in competition and a successful business man (tuna fishing) from Port Lincon in South Australia. Now retired from heavy sports and maintains a healthy life style living on the gold coast in Queensland.
